Cuckoo, warbler images

Description

The shining bronze cuckoo (Chrysococcyx lucidus) and the much larger long-tailed cuckoo (Eudynamys taitensis) lay their eggs in the nests of New Zealand native birds, including yellowheads (Mohoua ochrocephala) and grey warblers (Gerygone igata). Here you can see an image of a grey warbler and of each cuckoo. Photos by Dr Michael Anderson (Massey University), All rights reserved.
